We facilitate personal and organizational transformation through writings and seminars.
Our major seminar (four hours) deals with New Thought: its origins, contrasting lines of development, relationships to other movements, and possibilities for its future development. We view New Thought as a three-legged stool, the legs being
-
Practices for fullness of everyday living, including health, wealth, and happiness.
-
Relationship with God in both personal realization and philosophical-theological-psychological theory, and
-
Ethical foundations to make sure that a character ethic (emphasized by Stephen Covey in his book The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People) rather than a personality ethic prevails. Our approach recognizes the indispensability of all three of the modes of knowing that the mystics called the Three Eyes: mystical awareness, sensory perception, and rational reflection, in order to have a balanced worldview that is equally inspiring, practical, and philosophically coherent and comprehensive. Part of this involves considering alternative conceptions of the nature of God, with particular attention given to process-oriented panentheism, the view most compatible with current scientific understanding.
We can also do a shorter seminar on any segment of the above, as needed.
