For the past fourteen years or so, Deb has written an editorial column for New Thought, the house organ of the International New Thought Alliance. On this page, she plans to reprint these columns, beginning with the first one from the Fall 1997 issue. It was written in Arizona, where the new Executive Board had gathered in special session; and other Board members kibitzed and contributed to this first column. After that, the writing was exclusively hers.
Many mathematically challenged people celebrated the new millennium a year prematurely. I was taken to task for referring to Jesus as "the greatest psychologist who ever lived", but I never meant to limit him by that.
